Anyone using Toyota 4x4 calipers and race pads? If so what pads are you using and where did you get them? Thanks. Terry

Looking for a good quality light weight fiberglass hood and deck. Need hood that will take high speed stress. Previous hood I bought needed additional bracing to keep it from bowing. Thanks. Terry

Thanks gnosez for the information. Do you know how much race time you have on the 180?

The rear end I am referring to is a180 out of a Z car. R180 came in 110mm and 115 inner diameter detentions of the ring gear

  10. I have a Jerico. I bought mine from Roush Yates. Great people to work with. They quoted $200 for a complete service and the price of a gear if I need to change a ratio. I use the clutch for down shifts. Much better than my datsun close ratio boxes.
  11. You will never want to go back to a datsun box after you use the Jerico. I would bet your lap times will be alittle faster with the better gear splits and the quicker shifts. Good Luck.
  12. I have a dog box in my car with a 1.81 first gear. Getting started is not too bad if the car is straight and you can safely take off a little aggressively. The main problem is getting to pre-grid when there is traffic and people not watching for cars. Hearing the dogs slam back and forth when you do not have a load on the gears is not pleasent. Most race starts are fast enough to not have to worry about the tall first gear.
  13. Hi Greg, how did the new trans work? Is the BMW faster than it was at the run-offs. Terry Miller

A funy thing happened during the E-Production race. Al Epperly, Steve Epperly's father and I were standing at the wall between start finish and the end of the hot pit. The wind was blowing hard and a higher gust of wind took Al's hat off and blew it on to the track aproximatley 30 yards down. I saw the hat for 3 or 4 laps and forgot about the hat. The next day, Al, Steve, Pam and myself were down by turn 5. Pam walked down close to the track and soon came back stating she thinks she sees Al's Z Therapy hat. She recieved disbelived looks and statements of thats not the hat, it would have to travel more than one and a half miles. After the Showroom Stock B race Pam walked out to the side of the track and retreved Al's hat. Some times truth is stranger than fiction!
