Ball joints to control arm problem
Kenny, another company I have doen business with in the past (to satisfaction) has these for sale. They say they are Mcquay-Norris ball-joints, but they are different to the Mcquay-Norris ball-joints you have pictured in the thread you posted. Do you know if Mcquay-Norris makes different styles? Thanks for all the help and replies so far!

Ball joints to control arm problem
So you would get them from the dealer? Maybe I should bring the control arms along to the shop. BTW, is this a known problem with non-original Nissan parts?

Ball joints to control arm problem
A few months ago I got me a new set of 'made in Germany' ball-joints on Ebay as part of my front-end 'project'. At last I came around to fitting the ball-joints to the control arms today, but to my surprise the mounting holes do not allign with those on the control arm. The are a few millimeters of. What do I do now, throw the Ebay parts away and get me a proper set from the dealer or do I grind the lower metal housing until the holes line up? :stupid: Thanks.

Nissan Tie Rod ends
Hi. Just got me two original Nissan tie rod ends for my 260Z on Ebay. They have small bolts on the ends where the grease nippels go. My question is, do these tie rod ends com pre-greased from Nissan? Thanks :nervous:

Compression rod bushing arrangment
The energy suspension bushing for the compression rod I recevied where fitted with the 'flat' sides in contact with each other. (confusing):surprised The Chilton repair manual has an extra note that says: '...that being with the rounded edge of the bushing contacting the mounting hole on the vehicle.' The sleeves that came with the set are 52mm in length. I think I will fit them according to the note in the Chilton manual.

Motorsport Front Air Dam (late 260 / 280)
Mike, did you ever complete the job fitting the airdam to your car? Is it a bolt on type of job or did you have to make modifications? I am considering buying the same type 2 airdam for my late 74.

White Guage Face Opinions? Ricey?
Maybe it is the bad Japanse to English translation, but my 1974 factory service manual spells 'gauges'. And so does the Chilton and the Haynes manual. :classic:

Rear bumper side pieces
And vs 240Z bumpers? The early 260Z bumpers already have the shock setup where the 240's don't.

Rear bumper side pieces
There aren't many wrecking yards here that have these kind of classics. Mostly younger cars.
