reverse light button?
I know that this is an old topic, but I use it for my question. Hope it's ok I had my 240Z 10/70 (manual transmission) painted and I've been putting the car together for the last months. I've got the engine running again but I have some electrical issues. One is that when a connected the battery the reverselight was on at once, and I had to disconnect the bulbs. I do not remember if the reverse lights worked before the project, I had the car just for a couple of weeks before I took the tail-lights of. The switch on the gearbox looks ok, but the two wires are cut (not by me). My question is that where should the two wires go from the switch? Pretty strange that the reverselight are on as soon as I connect the battery

Which clutch to buy?
I've been reading topics regarding series 1 clutches, but I still need to ask a question or two. Hope you guys can help me with this I have a stock 10/70 240Z with a 4-speed imported from the US and it needs a new clutch. The thing is that I can buy a clutch kit for a european 5-speed -72 240Z from a local part seller, but not for a 70-71. I'm wondering if I can use that kit, or will I have a problem with the clutch collar becouse the pressure plate is not for a series 1 car? If I can't use this kit, I have to order one overseas I think.

Anybody here from England, look at what I found!!!
Great information about Samuri-cars, thank you HS30-H Anyway, it makes me really sad to see such a nice Z to be left like that. It should be saved, and not be left to rust away. Even if it is waiting for restoration it should have a nice garage or something to protect her

The only 240Z owner in Switzerland?
Mull is from Sweden Anyway, several countries here in Europe has some sort of a Z-club or a Datsun-club as Tomohawk said. In Finland we have a couple of Datsun/Nissan clubs. Btw. it would be really nice to have a big Z/ZX-club gathering somewhere here in Europe :cheeky:

Container loads of skylines/240k?????
Thanks Yep, there was headlight cleaners on my car. Well, I actually didn't get that much for it (somewhere under 1500 euros) BUT it had some issues with the engine and there was rust on the car. I had it only for a really short time, and never got to drive it :disappoin There ain't many of these left here, but you could try to ask here: http://www.ncf.fi/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=conversation You could ask for parts also trough that board.

Hey, maybe the red 240K (C210) I sold in december 2005 lives now in your country :cheeky: The buyer spoke english and I think the car was shipped from Finland. Did you skyc110 visit Finland yourself? Who knows, maybe we have met in that case

Left hand drive KGC10? 2400GT?
Nice car Johann I had one of those lefthand driven 2400GT:s here in Finland for a short time. When I got it, it was so rotten that it was almoust impossible to save. I sold the car to a another 2400GT owner who needed spareparts. There ain't many 2400GT:s left here in Finland either.

What Zs are meant to do
The exhaust fumes are pretty nasty problem. I had the same problem with my Z until changed new mufflers, new weatherstripping and tried to find all the holes where the fumes came in. After that I could take a drive without having a bad headache after 30 min.
