Oldhemi is correct on the interlock relay, locate the black wire with yellow tracer and splice to yellow wire to the starter solenoid. This is a direct connection from the key switch "start" to the starter solenoid.
  9. I have a 260Z with a warmed F54/P79 ,Schneider 460 270-80 cam, 6 into 1 header,2 1/2" exhaust with 3:54 R 180 ,close ratio 5 speed and the car runs great, the trans keeps the RPM,s in the cam,s sweet spot around 3000 rpm between shifts.
  10. Under the hood beside the fusible link box. Saridout has the same problem.http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=36248
  11. Bypass the starter interlock circuit, locate the relay on the firewall with a 2 wire connector and a 3 wire connector. Jumper yellow wire on 2 wire plug to black with yellow tracer on 3 wire plug, this will power your starter solenoid from the ignition switch.

  15. The floating solid blue is the tach wire and connects to the coil negative, sounds like theres a tach problem as 12 volts to the tach with the blue wire disconnected ,the needle shouldn,t peg if wired correctly.
