I was just wondering what kind of surface prep was used on the air dam because it looks identical to mine and I would like to ensure the paint adheres the next time I paint. The paint job looks goregous by the way. -
So I previously painted my fiberglass air dam that I purchased from Motrosport and for the first week or so it looked great, but despite purchasing the surface prep kits that was suposed to keep the paint from cracking under the normal flexing one might encounter the paint began popping right off. I was equally confused when I began scraping it off this winter and the primer seemed very well adhered. This time I intend on doing it right because I'm painting it orange to match the rest of the car and it will be a lot more obvious if the cracking starts again. Basically the cost doesn't matter this time as long it can be done at home because I'm just that kind of girl. So if anyone has any tips please help me out, I had a bar for reinforcement to keep the flex to a minimal but it really was in vain.

What kind of bumper would I put on my 73 because in the Victoria British catolog there are bumpers for 71-72 and 74 but nothing specifically for a 73 Datsun. Also if anyone knows of any cheaper bumpers online or in a catolog please let me know i was hoping for a little less than $500 but if i must for my Z...

Wow that orange on yoour Z is crazy. Is that the original orange or is a different orange? -
Hey i'm planning to paint my 240 some shade of orange and I really want to put racing stripes on it but I'm afraid it will look ridiculous if i do black stripes. If anyone has any pictures or tips for me please respond. If you have an idea of another color that would look good with the orange please respond.

I know there are air dams that you can put on your Z that don't require a front bumper, but what if I want one, like this site's red car, that seems to need one. I am not fond of the big bulky ones that look like big blocks of fiberglass attached to the front, but how do I make the necessary adjustments since my bumper's destroyed.
