  1. My 73 vin 139920 ,built 12/72 has the green switch. It appears to be the original dash, although I can not be certain. Doug

I have two 71's one is still wearing the original paint and lots of door dings very minor surface rust under the battery tray and on one rocker it has a 5 speed, roll bar, after market seats, headers,tokico struts etc. build date is late 1970 and it has the vertical defroster and rear vents. the second one was restored a few years ago and has no rust that I have seen. it was built in mid 71 and has the verticle defroster but it has the side vents. it also has a few performance upgrades,after market seats,springs,4 speed,ac. gotta get back to work....thanks Doug
  5. John I may be able to help quench that thirst you have for a Z. I have two 71's and a 78 280 with a 350 and a 5 speed trans. All are originally west coast cars and in very nice condition.   10. help! just installed su's on my 73 now it looks ok,linkage moves properly,butterfly moves ok choke seems ok. as soon as it starts it runns wide open, is there something internal that could be stuck. also have read here that you should use the larger spacers but the studs were to short to get the nuts started,so I used the smaller ones,could this be a problem? thanks Doug
