Hi Jeff, looking at a large lot of nos motorcycle parts. The older gentleman selling isn't up on all the new fangled gadgets, plus doesn't seem motivated enough to put a list of part numbers together, so pictures appears to be all I have to rely on and he's having difficulty with that as well!

Thanks Steve, I checked the map before posting this thread and found a handful of members in the Detroit area, but that's about an hour and a half away from Onsted, MI. Didn't think anyone would want to make that trip and I didn't want to bother them. There are usually a lot of members that don't post on "member maps" and I was hoping one of those individuals that live much closer to "my" destination would see this. Time will tell ! ?

This car has soooo much "wrong", I don't know where to start. haha Anyway, I wouldn't worry about the original color at this point, as It's probably going to get a re-spray after someone has to go in and repair all the rust rot as evidenced in this pic of the floor pan just in front of the right rear wheel. Yikes!

I thought at first the box was a misprint, but then both the car pictured on the box and the actual model have a "FairladyZ" decal on the hood so they clearly meant to call it that. Still have no idea why.......

Thanks Mike, I've heard of Speed Sport Chrome before and even have the link to their site bookmarked. The reason I'm asking about Atlas is because a good friend got a quote from them on chroming a motorcycle gas tank, but not knowing anything about them, he's trying to find some info on their rep before he sends it to them. I told him about SPC, but I'm pretty sure they're not in his price range....

Just wondering if any Houston members (or others) have ever used this company and what were your thoughts on the quality of their product/services...... Thanks!

Just an update for those interested, I spoke with them again this morning and here's the low down... It was last registered in 1985 and hasn't run since. It does have a title and the "sale tag" price is currently $3750. He said don't be afraid to make an offer as it will go in with any others that may be made and considered at the end. It's a 4sp.car and the interior is according to him " is in surprisingly good shape other than a cracked dash". Major rust is over the rear wheel arches and actually penetrates the metal. That pretty much sums up what I was told. Keep in mind I haven't seen this car in person, so if you buy it, don't blame me if you find something you weren't expecting...... call or check it out youself!
