Overhead at a car show last weekend
Wow, consider all these "mistakes" and the confusion that must be out there with.....Acura(Honda), Lexus(Toyota), Infinety(Nissan), Plymouth/Dodge(Chrysler), Mercury/Lincoln(Ford) and Chevrolet/Cadillac/Pontiac/Buick(General Motors)....just to name a few past and present examples.

Float Height Adjustment ?
Here's a tip I posted a while back. It always worked for me. Use any bolt that your 14mm wrench/socket will fit and with the float bowl lid upsidedown and level, place the head of the bolt sideways between the float lid and the float itself. Now as you lower the float on to the bolt head, at the point it just touches the bolt, the float tab should now be just touching the needle. If it doesn't, adjust the tab so that it does.

Searching for original 240Z leather key holder
Will someone help clear up this Nissan vs. Aftermarket thing. In another thread dealing with 8-tracks, Mr Beck states; Here in this thread, the leather/vinyl key case apparently has the part number "80690-E8200". Is this aftermarket or not and why? This number doesn't indicate "locally sourced part - sold though Nissan USA and its Authorized Dealers."

Airdam & other Molds on Craigslist.
This was sent to me by a friend in the Portland area and thought someone here might be interested in picking these up. (If they're still available that is.) http://portland.craigslist.org/clc/pts/666561509.html

Series 1 eBay Stuff
EGADS, I've been full house'd  Did you you even open the link? If you had, you'd have seen it's a list of 20+ items that a particular seller has up for auction! So...how much could WHAT be worth? Just a note for the other members, he's added more items including early chrome coat hangers.

Is it a #1 Z
Hood bumpers are later version. (Not sure when this new style came about, so I won't say they're Series II only.) Taillight surrounds appear to be painted black, but that could just be the lighting.

Ebay Related Etiquette
Stickerman...exactly, that's the "danged if you do" part. So far we got 2 "post it", 1 "inform a friend" and 1 "No, don't post"

Ebay Related Etiquette
The problem is you won't know if it's a members toes until you post it. I've seen it several times where someone links an item only to have a member respond " D*#@ I was hoping no one else had seen that!" Interesting view, just not sure how may others would want to increase the potential bidding pool on an item they were really interested in.

Ebay Related Etiquette
Every now and again, I run across an item on eBay that is either rare or hard to find. Sometimes these are listed in the wrong category, mis-spelled or just listed in a way that most folks might miss with a basic search. If I decide not to pursue the item, I hesitate to post a thread here alerting the members to the auction fearing the "danged if you do, danged if you don't" While I think I might be helping someone in desperate need, I might also be stepping on another persons toes who was hoping it wouldn't get much attention and thus get a great deal. So......Do I or do I not? What's the general concensus here?
