The +/-'s of the "hidden bidder" depends on which side of the $ you're on. Every seller wants the max $ amount for his item and having someone drop out because one bidder doesn't want to bid against another (for whatever reason) limits his potential outcome.

My cousin had several areas brazed on his 71 and within 6 months, all the spots that were brazed had bubbled up. To this day we still don't know if this was because the spots weren't cleaned properly or if there was a reaction between the two metals. I too would like to know the reason why this happened.
  6. First, the obvious...."Old Skool", or maybe..."Two 6-packs later"
  7. Well....this guy just north of Houston has decided they're so cool, he bought up DeLoreans remaining inventory and plans to build and sell new ones. http://abclocal.go.com/ktrk/story?section=local&id=5586089
  8. Stop making excuses. Especially ones like these that do nothing to help your cause. You might also want to make a little note in your "Life's Lessons Learned" scrapbook, that in addition to petty theft being wrong, it's not wise to brag about it on a public forum!
  9. What kind of logic is that? That's their business...what's left of a vehicle after the public has picked its bones, is sent to the crusher. This peticular part wasn't going to get crushed because you saw and wanted it, the problem arose when you choose to pilffer it, as opposed to purchasing it. Two wrongs don't make a right. If you were unhappy with their return policy, you could have taken your money (or in this case your pockets) elsewhere.

  12. The tools you bought should list somewhere, either in the instructions or on the box, what the minimum amount of CFM's are required from your compressor in order to operate them. Compare that to your compressors CFM rating. Sounds like your compressor isn't generating enough.

For the last few weeks there's been several discussions on various Z's for sale around the country. This one owner 240, which just got posted in our classifieds, is in my opinion the one to get. It's one nice Z, especially for the price! Check it out. http://www.classiczcars.com/classifieds/showproduct.php?product=1792&cat=1
