Not nos but could be a good deal for someone. It's a 7/70 car. Rust issues. For the right price, could be good for a lot of desirable early parts. 1970 Datsun 240z

  8. Jerry, I used basically the same formula ( minus the Glycerin and Xanthan Gum ) on an oil tank for a motorcycle I'm currently restoring. I did a total immersion set-up on my project and I'm very happy with the results, especially since there are no repo tanks available for these bikes and nos one are like bigfoot..... you hear about them but rarely are they seen!
  9. Since the auction is geared towards American muscle, I thought someone here might be able to swoop in and snag that "furr'n" car on the cheap! Anyone interested might want to email them first and make sure it's actually in the auction since it's not one of the ones mentioned in the ad.
  10. This auction, besides having some nice American muscle, has a little Japanese gem hidden in there....... scroll down & check out the 2nd to last photo. :classic: T MILL IRON AUCTION AND APPRAISALS Starts On 9/28/2013

  12. Back in the late 80's I took my 4 speed tranny to Mack's Transmissions to have seals & syncro's replaced. He quoted me a price of $300 if I dropped it off out of the car. When I went to pick it up, he said he was only going to charge me $200 as I didn't need new syncro's. I really appreciated his honesty, as a lot of places would have said nothing about the syncro's and just let me pay the price quoted. I wouldn't have been any wiser. It's a ratty old place in a not so good part of town but it looks like they're still in business and if I had work to do again, I'd definitely give them a shot. I chose to get the CTEK MULTI US 3300, as my research showed a high approval rating. I've used it for several months now and am very pleased with the results. Search Amazon, eBay, etc. and you can find cheaper prices. I paid $53.49 with free shipping. You can check them out here..... http://smartercharger.com/products/batterychargers/ctek-multi-us-3300/
