Is anyone running a harmonic damper and A/C? I'm trying to figure out what my drive options are. I'm using the ATI Damper kit from Datsun Spirit. https://datsunspirit.com/shop/ati-harmonic-damper-kit/ I suspect my A/C days may be over.

Just finished installing a Vintage Air Gen II mini Kit and a Sanden Compressor 508 model. I manage to actívate the system with the rotary fan control and disabled the horizontal controls once removing the heater box and stock blower. However, i still think this system lacks blowing power as it does not blow enough cool air compared to ac systems of modern nowadays car. Is there a way i can solve this? should i consider the Honda Blower Upgrade to add this up to the vintage air gen II mini kit? Anyone? -
I am next to installing an AC system on my 240z. I have noticed that on the right hand of the engine there seems to be 4 holes to install a bracket to mount a compressor. Where can i purchase this compressor mounting bracket? Will the ones from a 280zx fit? or should i manufacture one? I saw one on ebay from a 79-83 ZX. Anyone?

Sorry if this has been answered in the past. I'm new to the forum. Just bought a 1977 280Z. Runs great, but the air conditioner was overheating the magnet valve main vac. Played around and finally took it to a shop who recommended I replace both the magnet valve main vac and the magnet valve FICD but I'm not having luck finding those parts. Any advice? Thanks in advance.

My air conditioner only blows hot air. Contol panel is set to AC, but no cold air -- and I don't hear the compressor kick in. The car's air conditioner control panel was replaced about a year ago (apparently it was the last OEM unit left in the US). There are no blown fuses. Today I had the cooling system checked out by professionals and it passed all tests -- freon pressure is good, and the compressor comes on when given power from battery. Any ideas?

Hey, my name is Amy Taylor. About 2 years ago I purchased a 76 280z. I love my baby!! I have had several problems, but I seem to have a great mechanic who loves her just as much as me. I have a question to anyone who might be able to help me. I have bought several fans for my ac motor blower.However they have all been cracked and end up shredding like the last one. Is ther anyone who knows how I can get a new or slightly used fan? Can I interchange years? I bought a new motor blower, but it didn't come with the fan. I live in Houston, and so far we have had numerous days reaching triple didgets. So you can understand how important this is!! Please, oh please...someone have mercy on my sweaty soul and give me the answer!!!

no pun intended. i put in a fresh fuse and after working for a few days it blows out again. any ideas as to the likely cause? i'm rotten with electrical stuff.
