I am attempting to tighten the shift linkage on my early '71. I had some new nylon bushings in "stock" so I thought I'd use those. When I got to the linkage, there was no match with the bushings. So, I think I have a Type A transmission. Can someone tell from the picture below? Also, how do I fix this linkage so I don't have to stir to find the gear? Just a different bushing? Thanks

Hello all!! I was wondering if any of you have one of these throttle accelerator linkages. There is a picture for reference, I have switched to the Harada intake manifold and could not use the old bracket that was there before. I circled the part in red for reference in the picture below, any help is much appreciated.

Hi all, I have a '74 260z with a 280 engine/5-sp manual that I purchased a few months ago. In the early 80's, a triple carb system was installed in it. Then around 2010, it was changed back to a dual SU carb system. I was trying to adjust the carburetors and could not locate the fast idle screw. After some digging on the internet, I think it's missing (see second picture), maybe during the switch back to dual carbs and the addition of the nifty bolt as a vacuum plug. Is this something I can easily fabricate out of a triangle of thick sheet metal with three holes, a screw for adjusting and maybe a spring around the screw? If not, anyone can suggest a source for this missing part? Also while I'm at it... The first picture is of the bottom of one of the carbs. Is the knurled nut just below the carb the air/fuel ratio adjuster? Thanks! Jeff

I've been trying to source the circled part for 240z door locks to no avail for a while via craigslist, ebay, etc for months. It's the piece that clips to the lock cylinder in the door and connects to the linkage rod. The ones I have (being soft metal) are completely shot and allow the cylinder to rotate without locking to door. I really need a passenger side one more than anything and figured I'd reach out and see if anyone has one laying around that's in good shape and not too worn (or knows where to get a new one). Any and all leads are very much appreciated! Chris
