  2. Moving sale! I have a set of 4 (and 1 spare tire) of the old school 4 lug 14" MAG wheels with pretty much new (but old) tires on them. The rims and tires have been sitting for about 4 years in my garage, but have no punctures or issues. The rims are in decent shape (pictures to come soon) and have no dents in them and hold air fine (like I said, they worked perfectly fine when I had them on the z some time ago). With a little TLC these bad boys would look great on a resto 240/60/80Z. Price: FREE in Mission Vijeo,CA 92691 contact me @ 949-444-2251
  3. Hi! Longer time lurker finally digging out! I really enjoyed this forum's community through the years. I learned a lot even though I could not contribute much back. I am really curious about getting a new set of rims. This led me to remove my front wheel and learn what this car has to offer. The previous owner resold the car and did not do any type of modifications, so right off the bat he did not know much about the car. Removing the front left wheel, I noticed a spacer. I measured it to be 8mm (if my math is correct). After removing this plate, I noticed "another spacer"????This spacer seems to be at 16mm. At first, I was like "wut da coochy"??? Then I figure all those spacers (roughly 16 mm) need to accommodate this huge lard - brake calipers . I mean, it is huge! It looks like a turtle shell...I thought-what if i removed the 8mm spacer, would the wheel fit and be okay? Turns out that it would not fit because the brake caliper would rubber vigorously with rims. With this in mind, I asked myself if my rear wheels had spacers... Turned out that my rear wheels did not. So really, how is it that my front wheels have 24 mm off set and not stick out from the stock fenders? My rear tires are completely flush with the back fenders. My other question is the limited choices of rims I have. What kind of rims would help me in this situation being that my front end is an offset while my rear isnt?
  4. hey guys, im new to the Z car club i dont own a Z car exactly, but i have a 1978 datsun skyline, very similar to the Z cars around the same era. Its running a fully recond L28 through a 5 speed manual, with the best dam independent suspension ever built!!! I love my zcars or any datsun, in my opinion anything with a L series in it gets my recognision. Im in the process trying to find a set of triple webers (45mm) a intake manifold to suit, and a good set of extractors. Also im trying to find a set of 15 or 16 inch watanabe rims, can anyone help me!!???
  5. Hey I've got four original wheel covers for my 240z. They are in perfect condition, and i have taken them off the car to keep them in good shape. I'm thinking about getting different wheels for my car so how much do you think i could get for 4 perfect original wheel covers.
