I want to vinyl paint my dash pad, glove box door, and center console interior of my 1978 280z the same brown, burnt orange, ginger color that the door cards, seats and rear panels currently are. Has anyone tried this? I dont want to reupholster. I am planning on doing it myself. I have looked at SEM Vinyl paint and there is a color code 15033 Saddle Tan that kinda looks similar. Anyone have a spot on color code or name? I have attached pics of my interior for referrence. with gratitude, @insta_datsun

Attached is a photo of some aftermarket vinyl trims, but I would prefer to get a pair (L & R) of original vinyl trims. These usually come off easily with a hair dryer or a heat gun set to low heat. Prefer a L and R set in excellent condition, but will consider a good single, maybe with small glitches, if you have one. Glad to add your cost to ship to the payment. I'm looking for someone in the DFW area who has a butterscotch interior, preferably from Les at Classic Datsun, so i can have a color reference for the rest of my vinyl. I'm going to buy seat covers from him in the near future, but i have to do the rest of my vinyl interior immediately and i don't think he's able to send me a sample.

i'm about to receive my A-pillar and rail vinyl kit in the mail, along with a new headliner. does anyone have any pictures of their own installation that i can reference? it seems like i once saw pictures of the vinyl work being done on a red 240... also, any advice for order of installation or technique? EDIT: i've seen the vinyl installation section in my copy of wick humble's book, but any further insights would be appreciated.
