  1. Hey Z guys, my name is raj been driving fast and drifting for a while now and now its time to slow it down. my history: in 2007 i finally got to buy my first car for myself, a 2000 Honda S2000 in Silverstone silver. my parents werent into cars at all, and i always wanted to learn to drive a manual, so i jumped in headfirst and researched and learned. love it, but then i realized the problem with buying such a perfect condition vehicle, a lot of responsibility comes with it!! realized i couldnt drive it everywhere, couldnt park it just anywhere, and definitely couldnt park it next to just anyone!! got my first door ding so i bought a second car, a 1995 Nissan 240sx se. and yes, u know what happend then, I learned how to Drift... i actually got into the s2000 because i thought it would drift, but it really isnt the easiest to drift with when u have no idea how. so eventually i got so heavy into driving the cheap nissan anywhere and everywhere that i began to neglect my honda (i put nearly 20,000 on it in less than the first year!!). i got so heavy into learning to drift, that i barely drove my s2k n didnt maintain it proper, also other things, like girls got in the way too, i loved the s2000 so much i wouldnt drive just any girl in it but the nissan was another story. eventually i was doing the easier maintanence (or so i thought) like oil changes myself. due to ignorance and jus living wayy too fast. i began modifying&drivng the nissan so much that it was the only thing on my mind. oil changes for the 2.4 KA24DE were about 4quarts and when i started doing oil changes on my honda 2.0 F20C for about 4 quarts thinking all four cylinders take 4quarts... boy was i stupid... after a year or so of Vtec with a missing quart, and a mishap with a oil filter magnet causing my oil filter to untorque while driving; cylinder number 4 made me realize that not even honda's are invincible, and cars are very very easily broken. so i was trust into my first Engine Swap and baptized into the world of garage mechanics... i bought a helms manual, cherry picker and engine stand and committed all winter to learning proper s2000 maintaining. i ordered a very expensive F22 2.2 block from Spoon of japan, but ended up getting a Tracy Sports built and balanced block with Oil pan baffles and a brand new head with BC dual spring&titanium seats. ARP head studs and Cometic head gasket. the Honda S2000 has always been a bit lucky for me, on quite a few meets and drives, its won me free things, a free valve job by a honda dealer ($200), a nifty patrone racing shirt, a $100 best buy gift card in a car show (at random not thru judging ). and this time it was no different, the engine which i paid about 3000 sumthing euro pounds for and had been waiting what seemed a lifetime of winter, arrived just after the Massive Earthquake in japan, infact the ship date from Japan was exactly 3,11 of that year... needless to say, the very expensive block was ok, and the car has since been on the road again and currently has a good 15k on the new engine, time for full synthetics so which brings me to the second side of the story, my rebellious 240 beast... so for the longest time i had been telling everyone id swap the engine, everyone swaps the engine in their 240. mostly to the SR20DET, but i had a different idea after a very my "Car Mentor" convinced me otherwise. i had my heart set on a V8, and a nissan should stay nissan so the Infiniti Q45 4.5 V8 seemed like an awesome donor heart. but my mentor kept telling me, go LS1, its cheeper to fix etc. eventually i figured it out, and that summer right after my honda engine swap, i went for it, bought the Entire Sikky.com kit (BAADD IDEA, horrible build quality on most parts), waited monthes for them to send it, started pulling the car apart and realized Nissan wasnt trying very hard when they designed the S14, it was like it was never made to last, but never meant to come apart either!! as for finding an engine, it became a task as well, my cheapest hookup seemed to need at least an arm and a leg for any LS1/T56 combo, so i started researching; and the notions "Go BIG, or Go home" and "Theres NO Replacement for Displacement" came to mind. i compiled a list of GM engines from the 4.3 all the way to the 8.1 and the 6.0 LQ4 won out, readily available, cheep, high torque, durable, and same family as LS1, so with great difficulty and many problems over come and little help, the 6.0 went in. and boy did my life change.... and i never... stopped... working... on it... always a new leak, or lttle problem to fix. always one more thing to change or tweak, and finally... eventually, i was within inches of perfection. of course it too became a problem... but i over came that, and it was still inches of perfection as the last tweak just made it easier to tweak but didnt fix the original annoyance... but i made it to my third drifting event wif my Kingly V8... and i could feel things had changed between me and the car... my heart was no longer in it. didnt feel wanting to rush to change tires or the thrill of showing off... as i swapped on the second set, the tires already werent lasting long and i kept lowering air pressure to compensate for their melting... there was noone to tandem with, the track was too confining for my massive torque and my fiance just wasnt having a good time as she ceased to talk to me, not wanting to even be there... all this and the Love/hate for my beast added up. drifting in the v8 was soo easy, so effortless that it began to get just a bit boring, with noone to compete with that day (which was the reason i built it), limited line and confined area of the track, and walls; i got careless, spun, and locked up my tires backwards at 2 points saw a mistake, but didnt correct either, and i didnt think i had THAT much momentum, but contacted the wall backwards. i guess i got off easy, the damage is repairable, the blinker and brake lights still work, the exhaust only got the D" shape on one side of my old Apexi N1 Dual. and the engine still started. but i may have cracked a header due to the lack of flex in my exhaust system. so now im just over it. i want to get rid of the car so badly now, im soooo sick of working on it, i just dont have the heart to do it anymore and its for sale, very repairable, very cheep. i need to settle down and start on getting a more normal life again. i kno one day, i will get a Z, i plan on it being the last car i will ever buy. im looking for a 280 2+2, but i love the look of the 260 2+2 for some reason. at this point, selling the beast frees up alot of options. ill have the money to buy any used car ive wanted to get into... originally my plan was to use the beast to tow a rolling chassis home and restore it for an engine swap and use my old F20C from my s2000 in it. but now i think i want a working drivable Z to replace my Beast looking at under selling my Beast for $8k, its always been super reliable and still is, probably would be about 350 for another sikky driver header n watever for driver corner lights, rest is just hammering it back out. only thing that bothers me about having a Z is the fact of lack of anti slim jim protection on older cars. maybe someone can chime in on that, if ur still alive from reading all the intro haha. sorry had to get it off my chest, i kno you guys can truly understand it. my beast is on sale at http://zilvia.net/f/cars-sale/474796-95-6-0-lq4-swap-8k-obo.html Looking forwards to making some level headed friends
