Can some one tell me how to deflate my bumper shocks.

My 1974 206Z has both front and rear bumpers that stick way out. I would like to do away with the rubber seal behind and push the bumpers closer to the body. Any Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Also does anyone know if you can put 240 bumpers on my 260?

Are the mounting plates the same or do I need to change them out?

What about the bumperettes? I'd like to remove them!
