Ed Posted March 12, 2004 Share #2 Posted March 12, 2004 What condition are you looking for? Something that runs, needs a little TLC? Or a project, trailer it to your garage and get to work? Marty Rogan Posted March 12, 2004 Share #4 Posted March 12, 2004 Jon,You should join us at the Windy City Z Club. Here is the web address: http://www.windycityzclub.com/default.aspIf you look under the classifieds, there is a nice sounding 280Z. I don't know anything about it other than what is in the add.You may have to travel farther to find a good Z. The last one I bought, I flew down to NC and drove it back. Good luck on your search. That can be half the fun!Marty Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/10695-looking-for-a-z-in-il/#findComment-72368 Share on other sites

Kozby1976 Posted March 21, 2004 Share #7 Posted March 21, 2004 My name is Dave and I'm part of the Windy City Z Club...We at the club with the 1st generation cars like to stick together and swap, trade and sell parts to each other. I have a few Z's...my pride and joy being a 76 280Z 2+2 in Baby Blue Pearl with a skyline tubo set-up as my favorite, a 77 280Z 2+2 that i've owned for 10 years originally from FL, my 83ZXT 2+2 turbo is forsale and its a California Z, and a newly aqquired 88 300zx coupe 5spd with a new motor will also be forsale. When and if you join the WCZC...which you really should join...we'll enjoy seeing much more of your 78 Z.
