e_racer1999 Posted August 13, 2004 Share #26 Posted August 13, 2004 back on subject, i don't care too much for it. i would have to agree with the majority in that it makes the car looked "ZX-ed" Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/12335-your-opinion-on-this-front-air-dam-sweet/?page=3#findComment-90961 Share on other sites
240znz Posted August 13, 2004 Share #27 Posted August 13, 2004 I have to agree with MOYEST that this is a nice front airdam.http://www.classiczcars.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=12005My 71 has a front dam fitted as well as the rear spoiler + slots. However, once I'm finished, I will have a new airdam and no spoiler ( I'll however keep it just in case I change my mind. Probably try and find a airdam like the link points to.Does MSA or VB stock that one? e_racer1999 Posted August 13, 2004 Share #28 Posted August 13, 2004 ^^i'm thinking about getting that one except with the brake cooling vents.... victoria british has both the fiberglass one and the urethane one (urethane only with the ducts).... hls30.com Posted August 14, 2004 Share #30 Posted August 14, 2004 The Airdam at the start of this postlooks like it was made for another car, and just happened to fit, not like it was intended to add to and blend with a Z-too obviously an addon to look right, but if making the parts you add stand out is what you want, that spoiler does it with a vengance!I like some of the others, my '73 had one with brake ducts, it worked with the car, and added to, instead of detracting from, the factory styling. My '72 is getting a ducted BRE spook spoiler. Will Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/12335-your-opinion-on-this-front-air-dam-sweet/?page=3#findComment-91126 Share on other sites
lordbiotree Posted August 15, 2004 Share #31 Posted August 15, 2004 Carl, when my Orange 240Z was bought the car came with a airdam. It's black in color. Just big enough to keep the front tires from lifting off the ground at high speed. I've always enjoyed the looks.
