Oh no, thats not the way you want to finish the day, but your ok. Would have been worse on the Hume hwy.

How many 240's did you get there, and do you think you ran another day ?

Steven

yeah i hate to think what would have happened at 120 instead of 70.

we had 5 z's there including mine and a mixed bag of other cars which made up the numbers. yeah we have them about 3 times a year, im moving to the states for a while in a couple of months so i wont be around for the next one but PM me your email and ill put it on the list. alternativly they'll always be posted on the sydney z car club website.

HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!! that definately does not sound like fun at all brett. The only hting i can say is "well, atleast it wasnt me". i know that when ever i do anything to the car my dad ALLWAYS double checks what i have done. at times it seems tedious as hell but if it only saves an incidence like that once then it is worthwhile.

Tom.

Thats the exact same reason why when I put a rim on a mates race car, I always hand him the wheelbrace and make sure he checks it, that way when a wheel comes off at 120km/hr and he veers into a tree, its because he had a big night before, not because I did.

yep well i learnt my lesson, that wont be happening again. the cars at the panel beaters now, hopefully ill get it back together before the sydney concourse next sunday.....

That saddens me - especially the part about the wheel bouncing back into your door!! How unlucky can you be?? Hope you're mates with a panel beater. Things like this happen, you're lucky it wasn't worse :classic:

yeah i couldnt believe it! there i am just finishing up grinding into a sparking halt ( quite spectacular i was told by my dad who was following me) and all i could do was helplessly watch the wheel come flying at my passenger door. im sure it will all be quite funny once i get over it!
