Finally, my Twice Pipes exhuast system is installed.. but problems.. Pics inside

Well.. after attemping to install this exhuast by my self, it was obvious that that Twice Pipes exhuast setup from MSA did not line up with the stock muffler mounts, did not fit snug into the body, and needed custom fabrication.

I took my car to Meineke Muffler and they installed it for... ehh... $150 for 3 hours of work.

They tried lots of combinations and twisting it, and everything they could to make the exhuast fit up tight and snug...

but this POS setup from MSA hangs wayy to low, and actually touches my tireand is VERY close to the tire, and you can see that it has touched the tire and there is melted rubber on the pipe.

Is there anything I can do about this???

Sorry to hear about your troubles, but how does it sound?

I have a version of twice pipes on my 73 and its loud and resonates badly around 2700 RPM. It does get lots of compliments on the sound though. Ferrari-like.

actually inside the car.. it sounds like a V8 honestly... at low RPM's...

and it does resonate around 3,000 RPM...

I noticed that at higher RPM's, it doesn't really sound ferrari like .... like evryone says.. but is loud, and kinda has "farts" which i hope will go away after the fiberglass burns out a bit.

I have a BIG video of a bunch of different angles and my driving by... but it's like 40 MB... i'll upload it tonight

BTW also when I drive it hard... and let up off the gas quickly... you can kinda hear popping or gurgling... almost like a small backfire...

am I running to rich?

Have you talked to MSA yet? sheesh, they probly wont even reply, just like they eont to me, when it involves stupid mistakes THEY made.....sheeh. Cant wait to see the video!

No, that sound means your driving a sports car. There is no cure once it get's into your bloodstream.

Downloading the video now! Awesome speed... Looks like you only have 2 resonators (one for each pipe) on your system... I'm sure that would be very LOUD. I had a single lukey muffler and it was very loud... ! Awesome sound though
