from an 8mm wire? That's what this brand called "Nology" claims. They're called "Hotwires". Claim to add 2% to 5% more hp, increased torque, improved acceleration and high rpm limits. Here's their tag line..."The secret lies in the Hotwires built-in capacitor, which accumulates spark energy until voltage reaches an ionization point. The capacitor then discharges the stored spark energy all at once for a faster, more powerful spark and an added performance boost!"

Just another line like the Split Fire plugs or a valid product. Oh yeah, the price is a mere $159.95 for a set 4!!! :tapemouth

$160 bucks for 2 to 5 more hp seems kinda lame.

nology actually has some pretty good wires.... what they don't say is that you have to have a full ignition set-up to actually notice any power increases. spark plug wires alone will not add HP to an otherwise stock engine. unless of course they are yellow and come with stickers, then it's a completely different story!

Sounds like A "Ricer" gimmick, but what do I know?

You know alot!! It was in the "ricer" section of a performance catalog ROFL I just can't imagine that people would fall for such a line. But I quess if you'll bolt a park bench on your rear hatch you'll pay $160 for 4 plug wires for that 2 hp gain. :D

..."The secret lies in the Hotwires built-in capacitor, which accumulates spark energy until voltage reaches an ionization point."

..."The secret lies in the Hottalk built-in translator, which accumulates horse-$hit until vomitting and we reach in and ionize your money."

so if I link 2-wires together I get the double output! :stupid:

Hey Vicky. Don't forget about the trash can on the exhaust pipe! That adds at least 10 hp!!!

Is that 2-5HP BEFORE or AFTER my collection of manufacturer's stickers for parts and accessories that I don't have on my car in the first place??

I like to make sure of these things, it may be exactly the added power I need to help improve my 60-foot times, being my excessively loud and heavy audio equipment is soaking up some of that precious sticker generated power. I might have to get the entire side of my car vinyled to compensate for the boot full of 12" subs.
