I received my parts CD today in good condition. I have been trying and trying to install it and cannot . I am doing somthing wrong but dont know what . I am running windows 98 and have lots of room so that is not it . Every time I start to do the install it wants to put it in microsoft money , when I try to install it also says that "this is a read only file" help if you can thanks

Okay, we need to make sure your computer is running the necessary 'tools' to view the CD.

First of all, make sure you have a version of Internet Explorer at least 5.0 or higher. I recommend using IE 6.0 because it has the best security for general web-browsing.

Next, when you get IE installed correctly, put in the CD and you'll see the main screen. If the main screen doesn't automatically load, open IE and click FILE-OPEN and navigate to the CD. Open the file called DEFAULT.HTM

Next we'll need to install a program called 'Adobe Acrobat Reader'.... I've included that program on the CD. Click INSTALLATION. Follow the instructions (Step 1 will install it).

After you're done... you can click START HERE and open the microfiche.

Let me know if you have any troubles.

PS: If you want to increase graphics quality of the fiche, just follow the 'disable plugin info' dialogs on the CD.

Hi Mike. Como esta frijolis. . what happened yesterday is I some how got derailed into arobat reader and it was going to down load some thing for $250. I had gone from window to window for about 45 mins and finally had to turn off the power just to get out of where I was. I cant get DSL and am waiting for broadband but for the time being it is v a r y s l o w . some times to 9000 per. thanks for the reply and I will try what you said I have no idea which version of Explorer I have but will find out ,thanks again . by the way I Bean fine . Well just as I thought it was MY ERROR.. All is well and running, great tool to work with thanks MIKE .. By the way I really enjoy the new screen saver vary much.
