Check our these sites. At the Pertronix site check out the ignition kit link. My local Z shop is installing these into OEM 240Z distributors, while maintaining the original exterior appearance (i.e., you don't even know the car has electronic igniton). I'm told none have come back with problems.

Except for the electric wires going to the ignition that wouldn't otherwise be there at all.

The two wires for the pertronix ignitor are easily routed along the original wires and hidden. Much less obvious than a Crane (POS) system, or the ZX Upgrade Dist.
