Has anyone ever seen this? a DATSUN "car-shield" ?!

I found it in an Antique Classic Car showroom, hanging on the wall, and I asked if it was for sale, and they said they have no idea. So I asked how much they would want for it...

I payed $1.00 ! hahaha....

Anyway, would this be worth anything? I guess it bolts onto the front grill, for looks or something.

Anyone seen it before?

I had one of those on my first 240Z, back in the early '80's. It's the Datsun equivalent to the grille Badges you see on Mercedes.

Is it worth anything? Well, I 'll give you $2 for it, for 100% profit!!

You can get those that say most anything on them. Car names, cities, countries, sports teams, sports sanctioning bodies, etc. I'd hang on to it just because it says Datsun and not much is being produced with that great name on it these days.

Could you post the measurements of the item? Also the manufacturer's information please. I have been looking for something like this so that I can see if we can get one made up for the club.
