JPK Posted December 16, 2004 Share #1 Posted December 16, 2004 Hi everybody. I'm a newbie and not very handy with mechanical issues. I have an 83 280zx (non-turbo). I ordered a new idler pulley from Advance Auto; it was around $16. Is this right, or did I just order the bearing only? When you go to their Parts America site and put in "idler pulley", you get a bearing. Is that what I need? Sorry for the possibly dumb questions. Thanks. Ed Posted December 16, 2004 Share #2 Posted December 16, 2004 More than likely it's just the bearing. But don't worry they are easy to change. You will need snap ring pliers.
