jmark Posted January 4, 2005 Share #1 Posted January 4, 2005 I have the coated MSA 6/1 header, MSA aluminized exhaust which comes with the Dynomax Turbo muffler. It sounds very agressive outside the car but between 2K to 3K rpm it has a serious drone/resonance which gets old quick. I am planning on having a "glasspack" added after the header collector pipe to serve as a pre-muffler. See link below.http://www.atlanticz.ca/zclub/techtips/exhaust/index.htmlAnyone here done this? jmark Posted January 7, 2005 Author Share #5 Posted January 7, 2005 Ordered the Dynomax Race Magnum Bullet Muffler (2.5 in & 2.5 out) 18" long unit from Summit Racing for $57 shipped to be used as a "premuffler". Should get it installed next week. Hopefully it will help cut out some of the resonance/noise in my system. I am running the coated MSA 6/1 header, MSA 2.5 " aluminized exhaust which comes with the Dynomax Turbo muffler. Took out most of the annoying boominess. It was worth every penny.
