PrOxLaMuS© Posted January 5, 2005 Share #1 Posted January 5, 2005 Found this Trust Twin Turbo kit on eBay.... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7945759914&category=33742&sspagename=WDVW HS30-H would you happen to know if Trust really released this TT kit for our cars.. or if this is some home garage fabrication.. also it looks like it was removed from a RHD car.. so putting it into a LHD car would require some modification right... with the steering rack right? Anyway.. maybe others wanted to see this Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/14553-trust-twin-turbo-kit-on-ebay-hs30-h-verify/ Share on other sites
sblake01 Posted January 5, 2005 Share #2 Posted January 5, 2005 Looks to me that you would run into clearance problems with the master cyl, booster, steering column, etc. on a LHD car. Maybe that's why he's selling it. It just seems to me if this is all he says it is and it would fit on his car, he would be using it instead of selling it. HS30-H Posted January 5, 2005 Share #3 Posted January 5, 2005 HS30-H would you happen to know if Trust really released this TT kit for our cars.. or if this is some home garage fabrication..Yes, TRUST ( along with a few other manufacturers ) made such turbo conversion kits for the Japanese market back in the late Seventies to mid Eighties. There were many different versions, and this looks like a genuine one rather than a home-built one-off.As sblake01 has pointed out, and you guessed yourself, it won't necessarily fit an LHD car as it was designed to fit an RHD setup.Cheers,Alan T. Gav240z Posted January 5, 2005 Share #4 Posted January 5, 2005 All that aside it looks like a good kit with external waste gate and all . This would be awesome shame about the $1.5k he wants for it and that's in US dollars. If it were cheaper i'd buy it myself Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/14553-trust-twin-turbo-kit-on-ebay-hs30-h-verify/#findComment-107517 Share on other sites
Coastieee240z Posted January 6, 2005 Share #5 Posted January 6, 2005 I'd rather have this setup Actually this engine's for sale too it was on ebay awhile ago but he didn't get the reserve he wanted so it didn't sell...but I don't want the engine it's setup for straight line drag I'd want the power more in the midrange to high and then have the HPs hold steady afterwards. I do like the turbo setup though :classic: http://www.speedshopthagard.com/projects/240Z_twinturbo/index.html Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/14553-trust-twin-turbo-kit-on-ebay-hs30-h-verify/#findComment-107569 Share on other sites
