Inf Posted January 7, 2005 Share #5 Posted January 7, 2005 From the title i though this thread might be about this car.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=4516977644&category=6187Although it's a ZX, the engineering geek in me is fascinated. I wonder how much a replacement turbine for that would run, and I wonder what happened to the original? Seems like a rather important part for a turbo shaft motor! sahunt66 Posted January 7, 2005 Share #10 Posted January 7, 2005 Yup, that's a B210 in the US. A cheap little throwaway car that you don't see much of any more. BTW My mom had a '77 Datsun 200SX. It was a funny looking sports coupe that had a 5-speed with an odd shift pattern. 1st was all the way to the left and down. Anyone remember those? I haven't seen one in years. A cheap little throwaway car that you don't see much of any more.It may have the same body, but (even in stock form) it's really quite different from the B210 we received in the USA. You guys should read the the previous thread about the 140Zhttp://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10724&highlight=140z Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/14567-check-out-this-z/#findComment-107746 Share on other sites
Zs-ondabrain Posted January 7, 2005 Share #12 Posted January 7, 2005 had a 5-speed with an odd shift pattern. 1st was all the way to the left and down. Anyone remember those? I haven't seen one in years. When I owned my 78' 510, They came with that odd 5 speed, Reverse is where first should be and first was straight down from there. It was a GREAT tranni and even better for smoke shows "burn-offs", Roll back in reverse, then slam it down into first and drop the clutch, Instant smoke show.Man, I miss that car.
