I am looking at buying a set of tripple carbs for use on my 3.1L stroker build and would like to get some information on the different set ups available and why one may be better than the other. I have seen that we have Webber, Mikuni, SK, Dellotro, and now something called OER available to us for our L6 engines. Can anyone help hit the pros and cons of each of these inlcuding parts availability, ease of working on them, tuneability, performance, reliability, etc?

I really need this info in the next day or so to begin making decisions on what I want to buy.

Well Mikuni not longer makes PHH carbs, but you can still get parts. I had the same question when I was shopping for carbs. At the time I only considered Weber and Mikuni. People who have owned both like Mikuni better because it is more stabile. I really like my Mikuni 44s once you sync and jet it correctly thats it. I haven't had to adjust it since.

i think it's more the fact that we had a similar discussion a while ago comparing weber and Mikuni's.

It really comes down to personal preferance and parts availability.

For me I like the Mikuni's cause they are Japanese and i think suit a Z better than webers.
