hls30.com Posted March 14, 2005 Share #13 Posted March 14, 2005 I think it was a great idea that should have followed the other stitching in the car. Many european car dashes were finished that way at the time. The worksmanship is excellent. I perfer the factory finish, but I would take that over a cracked dash any day.Carl, it anit the years, its the mileage!!Will Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/15301-dash-rip-rock/?page=2#findComment-116758 Share on other sites
sblake01 Posted March 15, 2005 Share #14 Posted March 15, 2005 Does anyone remember the original 'Dash Riprock?' I don't mean the band (of 'Let's Go Smoke Some Dope' fame) but the character on the 60s show 'The Beverly Hillbillies?' He was one of Ellie Mae's boyfriends and I think he was played by Larry Pennell who was kind of a bit part type actor that seemed to pop up everywhere. Ricklandia Posted March 15, 2005 Share #17 Posted March 15, 2005 :stupid: Call me stupid, but I actually like it! I will agree that it might look nicer if the stitching were in black, but that's nothing a little dye wouldn't take care of. If the guy doesn't want it, I'LL volunteer to take it off his hands!
