I think it was a great idea that should have followed the other stitching in the car. Many european car dashes were finished that way at the time. The worksmanship is excellent. I perfer the factory finish, but I would take that over a cracked dash any day.

Does anyone remember the original 'Dash Riprock?' I don't mean the band (of 'Let's Go Smoke Some Dope' fame) but the character on the 60s show 'The Beverly Hillbillies?' He was one of Ellie Mae's boyfriends and I think he was played by Larry Pennell who was kind of a bit part type actor that seemed to pop up everywhere.

:stupid: Call me stupid, but I actually like it! I will agree that it might look nicer if the stitching were in black, but that's nothing a little dye wouldn't take care of. If the guy doesn't want it, I'LL volunteer to take it off his hands! ;)
