sahunt66 Posted April 29, 2005 Share #14 Posted April 29, 2005 Good thing it only stayed fired-up for a moment... there's no upper radiator hose. It also says that the slotted wheels are in fair shape; too bad there's only three of them. It's amazing that a car would sit around for 21 years. That's a life time for many of our members.Well worth $250 in parts. There's a few parts there I'd like to have, I'm sure. dogma420 Posted May 2, 2005 Share #15 Posted May 2, 2005 and just always remember, the car can always be restored, just needs money money money and time time time...(ie. See 26th Z's 27th Z...that is basically a shell that will be built from the ground up)...Once 26th has both rigs totally restored and at a show, that will be like a religious event...I think the entire Zed crowd will flock with gifts of murr and armor all to give to the Majesties!Later, Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/15737-73-240-in-mass-250-on-ebay/?page=2#findComment-122346 Share on other sites
Ricklandia Posted May 2, 2005 Share #16 Posted May 2, 2005 spotted this:http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6187&item=4546423850&rd=1Looks like triple webers, rest of the car is rough, but the going price is only ~$500 so far. dogma420 Posted May 2, 2005 Share #17 Posted May 2, 2005 Just FYI,For 5 years, in mid 80s I had a 74.5 260z big bumper rig....I would have to say from a 240z enthusiast's point of view, this has got to be the worse model year of all S30s in the USA......interlock on seatbelts, too many fusible links/relays...very expensive brain box and electric fuel pump (this is coupled with a mechanical up front)...big bumpers, new 280 rear taillights and turn signal placement up front...Don't get me wrong, I was a young kid and this rig got the Zed blood flowing in me....I loved this rig, but wrecked it as I was too young and stupid!!!Which brings me to....I have an almost new 74.5 rear fuel pump Nissan OEM with about 6 months of use (new $400 +) and also a 6 months of use brainbox ($400 + new) for sale....best offer, just PM me...if someone has a 74.5 non fuel injected 260z, these would be a steal for somebody!!! These have been in a closet for the last 10 years or so collecting dust but would be a bargain for someone!Peace out, Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/15737-73-240-in-mass-250-on-ebay/?page=2#findComment-122357 Share on other sites

You Left-Coaster's might want to take a last minute look at this one again: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6187&item=4546423850&rd=1 Triple carb 260 still under $500 with only 23hrs to go. If I didn't live on the complete opposite side of the country, I'd be interested Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/15737-73-240-in-mass-250-on-ebay/?page=2#findComment-122556 Share on other sites
Ricklandia Posted May 5, 2005 Share #21 Posted May 5, 2005 Just a bump:Only two more hours on this item and it's only $533 - not a bad price for a set of triple Mikuni's, not to mention some spare parts to boot.
