GunnerRob Posted May 6, 2005 Share #13 Posted May 6, 2005 I can't think of a reason for even one, in that location.Musical Horns was my thought, but I think we're still looking for a reasonable possible answer Carl, I believe you're right! And, I believe they're straight out of a roach coach/lunch wagon, 5 horns and all! Can you say La Coocaracha? Bambikiller240 Posted May 6, 2005 Share #14 Posted May 6, 2005 Carl, I believe you're right! And, I believe they're straight out of a roach coach/lunch wagon, 5 horns and all! Can you say La Coocaracha? Hi Rob: Mr. Camo suggested horns first in the thread, and I seem to recall seeing something similar, somewhere but I can't remember where. So far I've looked through 8 pages of horn stuff on JC Whitney's website and didn't see anything similar, but I'll look some more later. Mr Camouflage Posted May 7, 2005 Share #17 Posted May 7, 2005 They've gt to be musical air horns. couldn't really be anything else. Theres 5 trumpets under the bonet, so thats 5 different musical notes, and the air pump is mounted on the firewall next to the battery. Ricklandia Posted May 7, 2005 Share #18 Posted May 7, 2005 Okay, I'll finally fess up... I have a set on mine. BUT... thier not musical, as in play a tune musical. They just have a two-toned blast. I love the sound of them, very "euro" AND they do get peoples attention. My 260 years ago had a three horn version that sounded even sweeter. I love em. Hmmm.. I wonder if you can attach sounds here... Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/15814-what-are-all-those-hoses/?page=2#findComment-122941 Share on other sites

Bambikiller240 Posted May 7, 2005 Share #20 Posted May 7, 2005 I'm positive they are horns now. Look at this picture You can see (on the most forward one) that the trumpet is red and pointing down toward the ground. Attachement is same pic but with an arrow added pointing to the trumpet.
