Murph Posted January 11, 2006 Share #49 Posted January 11, 2006 I know the RB260 is a twin cam... Will you be using Solexes or will it be injected? Starting out using the stock head. Injection - no carbs. There ya go Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/15918-my-71-240z-project/?page=5#findComment-151724 Share on other sites

ZSaint Posted January 15, 2006 Share #52 Posted January 15, 2006 OK, I be the first one... I do not feel your wheel and tire combo will work. Too narrow a track and not enough tire. Your slip angle will be terrible! Now if you are a dirfter...! Naw, you're a gripper, I'm sure! What great workmanship! These guys are doing a heckofajob. Keep the pics coming. mull Posted January 16, 2006 Author Share #54 Posted January 16, 2006 HAha! I managed killing one of the rear wheels by sitting my fat a$$ down on the passenger side rocker panel. Bugger! Time to lose weight Anyway! mull Posted January 16, 2006 Author Share #55 Posted January 16, 2006 Screen cap from upcoming video, some paint and clear coat being added to the dash in order to make the mold for the carbon fiber dash. Dash will most likely be messed up when removing the mold (since the vinyl isn't attached that good in some places, etc) so don't get too angry or attached to the color of choice Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/15918-my-71-240z-project/?page=5#findComment-152250 Share on other sites
celica-fiend Posted January 22, 2006 Share #56 Posted January 22, 2006 Hi there.. links to your vids made it to a forum for the other side of the Classic Japanese fence .. and I just had to pop in here and say 'cool'. Love the videos and the determination to carry on. I just pulled apart my '75 Celica to fix a "tiny" bit of rust only to discover a massive amount more work and a lot of previous owners' hack repairs (though no hinges or 6mm thick steel welded in yet).. so Im quite familiar with that feeling. I look forward to seeing this complete, and watching more video progress reports cheers, Brett Fraser Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/15918-my-71-240z-project/?page=5#findComment-153012 Share on other sites
