Helldog Posted July 22, 2005 Share #1 Posted July 22, 2005 When I turn right I get a static-loud-scratchy-scraping sound and all music cuts out. My MP3 player is fine and so is all the wiring. The odd thing is...sometimes this problem is real touchy and can happen with the slightest turn of the wheel to the right. Sometimes it is not so touchy and only happens every few right turns. Speed seems to not matter and it just randomly like to make me mad and annoyed. Most of the time it's so bad I just keep my Cd player off....someone help me because I can't think of the solution. Could it be some other wires not having to do with the cd player???? Also....the speaker wires are good to go and so are all the wires connected behind the cd player....Someone PLEASE HELP ME....all I want is music without problems!!! Helldog Posted July 22, 2005 Author Share #6 Posted July 22, 2005 I never thought about the ground because I do remember that being a bitch to do. I wrapped the wire around a bolt and put the bolt on but that could be it...um...ill try capping the wire with one of those caps that has a washer thing on it so i can just put that under the bolt...well thanks guys I'll see if thats it Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/16655-help-me-music-turns-off-when-i-turn-right/#findComment-131571 Share on other sites

KDMatt Posted July 24, 2005 Share #11 Posted July 24, 2005 Time to start making left hand turns only!!!!MOM , that's what I was gonna suggest. -- Is there any chance it's related to your turn signals? Like perhaps it's the right blinker that's causing the problem vs. simply turning the wheel right? *shrug* ... 'just tossin' out ideas. Alfadog Posted July 24, 2005 Share #12 Posted July 24, 2005 Does it do it if you turn the wheel while the car is standing still? Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/16655-help-me-music-turns-off-when-i-turn-right/#findComment-131776 Share on other sites
