Ebay Car big buck low mileage '73 does the seller have a clue?

Recommended Posts

I have been searching ebay for a while trying to find another Z and I had already seen this guy's ad. The part that got me was that he said that he had been comparing ebay ads and this was less than the normal price of a Z in this condition selling on ebay. Not from what I have been seeing. I would say that the normal price would probably be around 10 on ebay. If you are really looking for someone who can't stay away from the crack rock try this ad http://adcache.collectorcartraderonline.com/10/5/5/80265255.htm

Sounds like she's just trying to recoup her invetment which sounds a bit inflated to me. That car is essentially a hybrid even though it has a Datsun engine (VG30E). But $49,900? I don't know if I would pay that for either of Chris's cars when completed! (Even though they'd be worth it)

Holy crap. I could build five z's like that for 60k, buy in bulk. Ha Ha. 19k for a 73 auto is just crazy. don't really like the colour either. this guy is a joke and needs to do a little more research, and get a new mechanic. Wonder if an oil change cost him $200? but if he does sell, what an investment. around 4k new to 20+k 30 years later. thats a 500% return. better than any savings bond. I think I will save all my cars from now on. Ha Ha

Well, guess what?..........The guy had one on the line and couldn't reel it in!

Like I said last week, he should have lowered the reserve and let this guy buy it.... he'll never get anyone to offer that much again.
