Zup Posted August 14, 2005 Share #37 Posted August 14, 2005 Hi Ed--- The best RESTORATION I have seen on this or any other site. Right down to the wire clamps for all the hoses.( I see you found them!) :classic: You have definitely set the bar for all to follow. I too can't wait to see all the pics. They are an education on how it should look and be done. You ought to write the sequel to Web Hubble's classic. Your knowledge is something the rest of us will need. Thank you for selling me the parts that I needed and also for the candid truth about my cam. Somehow I knew that was the answer. I'll give Delta Cams a call on Monday and find out how bitter the pill will be. GREAT WORK ED!!! 1 Bravo 6 Posted August 15, 2005 Share #38 Posted August 15, 2005 Ed, Reading back through these posts, comments made by some blokes who also have cars to be proud of must make you extremely proud of your accomplishments. Quite rightly so. Hope your old hat still fits mate. Rick. :devious: :devious: Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/16870-shes-done/?page=4#findComment-134205 Share on other sites
ChrisA Posted August 15, 2005 Share #39 Posted August 15, 2005 Hi Ed, again great job. I noticed the placement of the tie down hooks on the rear suspension. Were they located there when you started your restoration? And I have to say I love the pedal assemblies also. I wanted them out of sight and still be able to use them to tie the car down on the trailer. moyest Posted August 15, 2005 Share #46 Posted August 15, 2005 Ed, what a great job - awesome car, love the paint!IMHO I would get an original chrome wing-mirror to replace the black plastic one, and I'd get me some Panasport wheels for that beauty!
