Im Getting Panasports! Black Or Gold??

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

I have an aesthetic question for you now... I'm painting my '77 280z Daytona Blue (350z) color. Im going with 16" panasports from MSA, but i cant decide between black or the gold with polished lip. What to do? I know its my decision in the long run, but I am really, really torn. The black would match the CF hood I plan on adding later, but the gold has a real distinct look.

Whatchoo guys think? :alien: :ogre:

Hmmm, I think they would both look nice, but I would get the Panasports in all gunmetal. I have a set of eight spoke wheels that I will eventually paint all gunmetal. It sounds like your Z is going to look pretty aggressive with the carbon fibre hood, and gunmetal wheels look mean. If you just don't like the gunmetal, then go with the black centers and polished lip.

IMHO,

Ben

check these out, i know the're only 15" but almost half the price

don't know if they make 16" but u could go to their web site to find out.

I just bought a set of the gold Panasports for my white 240z, and the only thing is that these wheels dont look as shiny and as gold in person. They do look good, but they look much better in the picture advertised. In my opinion they would both look nice but the black might look better. Too bad the black dosen't come with a polished lip.

If it was me I'd go with the "Gold" with polished lip. The black wheels just sort of blend in to the point of being obscure, if you follow my meaning. The "Gold" ones on the other hand come across as saying to the prospective viewer "Go ahead punk, make my day" or "You want a piece of me....OK sucker, lets go at it....right here....right now!!!!" I plan on going with "Panasports" when I get to that point....
