Hey Joe...

Nice wheels...what mirrors are those?

I have no idea, they were on the Z when I bought it. They are some type of billet mirrors that has a screw on the point to adjust the glass. I will be replacing those with fender mirrors.

Your pics made their way to a drifting forum that I browse. They recommend you throw some spacers behind the wheels to really fill out the fenders. I personally think they look fine, though. Damn I want a set. Personally, I'd like to get them re-powdercoated a dark brownish bronze.

So 240ZTT what are the exact measurements of your tires and wheels? and at the place you gave a link for (where you bought them) is that a new wheel price you paid or are they used? They look new...they are the rs9 watanabe's?

Those mirrors are supposedly "JDM" mirrors. I don't know for sure and I don't have any info to support it, I just saw them listed for sale before as "JDM". They are the same mirrors I have on my '69 Roadster, they are supposed to be mounted on the fenders though. I can't seem to adjust them enough so that I can actually see anything with them. They were moutned by the PO. Can you use the mirrors? I can't see crap with them.

Here is what I want to put on my '72 240z. Think it will work. what are your thoughts?

I want the 17x7's, what do you think?

Gonna need some hellacious spacers for those, dude. They won't clear the struts as is. The preferred offset for a Z with 7" wheels is 0. Those are 40mm!!

Great and that is probably to much of a spacer to be safe at high speeds isn't it??

What site?

They are painted from the factory when they made them not powder coated. They match my over fenders perfect (gunmetal) as the body will be painted factory silver (or Mercedes silver).
