Rear Watanabe's Mounted Lots of pics..

Recommended Posts

Those mirrors are supposedly "JDM" mirrors. I don't know for sure and I don't have any info to support it, I just saw them listed for sale before as "JDM". They are the same mirrors I have on my '69 Roadster, they are supposed to be mounted on the fenders though. I can't seem to adjust them enough so that I can actually see anything with them. They were moutned by the PO. Can you use the mirrors? I can't see crap with them.

Yea they are frozen and I haven't messed with them. When it gets painted fender mirrors are going on..

So 240ZTT what are the exact measurements of your tires and wheels? and at the place you gave a link for (where you bought them) is that a new wheel price you paid or are they used? They look new...they are the rs9 watanabe's?

They were prepaid half down then the order was placed with RS Watanabe in Japan. 3 months later here they are. They are R Type Watanabe 8 spoke

*Front 16x8.5 -6 225-50-16

*Rear 16x9.5 -19 245-45-16

These are RS-8 (I don't think they make an RS 9)

Spacers are easy to come by, mine are 35mm and no probs so far. But get some custom ones that match the Z hub and the wheel properly. Better than the off the shelf jobs, but more $$$, and more peace of mind.

Those Watanabe's are sweet. I'm green!!

I'd have to agree that the watanabe's look great....nothing like the look of great offset on a Z...that is the only problem with the FWD/spacer wheels...the Z is like an older Porsche 911....the deep dish offset look looks so natural....
