Dodge Viper engine

Not for me, I can't afford it (but I wish I could). I saw a '72 240Z today with a Dodge Viper engine stuffed in it. :eek: I would really like to know what he spent doing this.

I would like to see pictures of that. Stuffed must be the operative word!!! That thing must be brutally fast. If he has not significantly stiffened up the car though, he will probably shake or twist it apart.

wow, that's a huge engine to squeeze into a little z! how could that possibly be worth the cash you drop to get a viper engine that probably gets 10 m.p.g.!?! don't ask me!

Why not just buy a Viper?

Sorry to break it to ya guys but a Viper appeals to me more than a Z with a Viper engine . . .

Of course, with that kind of money I wouldn't have either !

Another thought... that thing would be soooo front heavy, wouldnt the understeer be unbareable !?

i my opinion i think it just sounds awesome to say, "yeah i put a viper engine in it..." instead of just owning a viper. And it would be great to use for a little "surprise" to that porsche/ferrari/viper that challenges you on the road,
