Ed Posted October 31, 2005 Share #1 Posted October 31, 2005 I just got my Holiday 2005 mini catalog from MSA and I noticed they have "Flashback Slotted Alulminum Wheels" on page 14. They come in a 15 X 7 and a 17 X 7. IMO they look bad arse! I wanted to know what you guys thought of them. yes or no??? AChev Posted October 31, 2005 Share #5 Posted October 31, 2005 I have a set of the original ones, but mine aren't nearly as shiney and nice looking as those shown in the catalogue. Although it got me thinking, when my z is finished, if it ever happens, i could polish them up nicely Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/17805-have-you-seen-the-new-msa-mag-wheels/#findComment-143787 Share on other sites

=Enigma= Posted October 31, 2005 Share #7 Posted October 31, 2005 Yeah, I've got the originals and I plan on polishing the mas well, but leaving the inner part rough as is. Should look nice once it's done. I'm sure someone has done it already. Come on, post some pics! Arne Posted October 31, 2005 Share #8 Posted October 31, 2005 I like the vintage style, that's what's on my car as well. (Not a matched set, though. ) The 15" would probably be OK, but the 17" don't look right to me. Something about that style wheel doesn't lend itself to the "big wheel - low-pro tire" look. Just my opinion, of course. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/17805-have-you-seen-the-new-msa-mag-wheels/#findComment-143796 Share on other sites

speedyblue Posted October 31, 2005 Share #10 Posted October 31, 2005 I like that look. Gives it a good old school look, with the big diameter. I wonder what offset they are? I think I would like to see as set of the 17's mounted . The 15s for sure. At least you could keep the vintage look and have performance tires with either . v12horse Posted October 31, 2005 Share #12 Posted October 31, 2005 Beandip, take a look at the link on the MSA site to the 17 by 7. They are mounted on a 280z. I am not into big wheels on Z's at all, but these look better than what I have seen.-Ben Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/17805-have-you-seen-the-new-msa-mag-wheels/#findComment-143817 Share on other sites
