1 Bravo 6 Posted January 24, 2006 Share #1 Posted January 24, 2006 I've had to disconnect the battery on old "Precious". Bare feet, wet grass, slippery tiles is a formula for disaster. The outcome is torn ligaments in the knee. :hurt: Can you imagine trying to get in and out of a Zed with a buggered up knee ?????????????? Rick. :devious: :devious: Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/18661-ooohhh-bugger-it/ Share on other sites

Alfadog Posted January 24, 2006 Share #4 Posted January 24, 2006 AWw I feel for you. How long till you get better?? Maybe you could take this opportunity to do some maintenance work you have been putting off for a while, if you have any? 240ZX Posted January 24, 2006 Share #6 Posted January 24, 2006 I feel for you! The getting hurt part isn't so bad but, the healing part certainly sucks!!! But you have to admit.....bare feet, wet grass, and slippery tile......what were you thinking? Did you get zapped or did you just slip on the tile? If it's any consolation, I've done some pretty (not so smart) dumb moves that ended up in an injury! 1 Bravo 6 Posted January 25, 2006 Author Share #11 Posted January 25, 2006 AAAARRRRGGHH,The physiotherapist I saw today was a real sadistic bugger.Talk about adding insult to injury!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I can't play golf for three weeks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AT LEAST !!!!!!!!!Yair Gavin, you hit the nail on the head there mate.I was "walking quickly" to answer the damn phone. To make matters worse, "She Who Must Be Obeyed and Is Always Right" was inside and answered the phone. Turned out to be one of those overseas nuisance calls wanting to sell something.Rick.:devious: :devious: Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/18661-ooohhh-bugger-it/#findComment-153394 Share on other sites
kenz240z Posted January 25, 2006 Share #12 Posted January 25, 2006 Rick,To be injured on the way to answer a pesky soliciation call...there must be a bit of cosmic humor somewhere here, but I haven't been able to put my finger on it yet.Perhaps it is a message to give up golf.I sure hope you heal up soon, every day you're unable to take Precious for a spin must be causing you anguish! Like me, I'm sure you're one of the few sane people amidst a crowd of madmen, so I hope your mental state isn't compromised by the situation!!!!
