sblake01 Posted February 22, 2006 Share #3 Posted February 22, 2006 Sweet Z for the most part but he'd have to lose that hood for me. For some reason the site is now editing anything with *** in it. kenz240z Posted February 22, 2006 Share #4 Posted February 22, 2006 I like the way the grille was customized to fit the space between the hood & air dam after the bumper was removed. The style of the Z car is so timeless, looking at this one it's hard to imagine it's over 30 yeard old! Mike Posted February 22, 2006 Share #5 Posted February 22, 2006 Yep, the system is filtering curse words with ***, ****, ****, *******, ***got, etc. Just something I discovered last night. I guess it's too much to filter out A S S... I'll modify that. jackboxxx Posted February 23, 2006 Share #8 Posted February 23, 2006 Hey thats Jasons Z...I talked with his dad a bit prior to having Dave Rebello build me a similar motor last year..he has beaten just about all the other local kids around the Antioch CA. area with that Z...as far as the motor goes, its got the all the good stuff done to it, last time we spoke he was up around $8000 invested in the engine..so if your looking for L series powered Z that will kick arse on most anything around...this might be the ticket Hey guys, The Z car that started my p***ion for these cars is up for sale on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Datsun-240Z-1973-12-second-street-car_W0QQitemZ4615464886QQcategoryZ6187QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem I have a video of this car in action, and let me tell you, the first time I saw it, I got a special feeling in my happy place. =Enigma= Posted February 23, 2006 Share #9 Posted February 23, 2006 Very nice Z. If it were mine I'd lose the hood. It just looks out of place with the rest of the lines of the car. And I would put the front bumper back on as well. 7240z Posted February 23, 2006 Share #10 Posted February 23, 2006 I think Mike's doing a great job with the language restrictions but I noticed sometimes that even the word "classic" would be ***! Also, there where a few links I had trouble opening cause they too had the ***. For some reason the car actually looks like it has a really thick beard?! With a hood like that? Hmm...I say ricey. I'd love to have a nice quick Z like that but I don't have those kind of resources at my disposal. I hope to build up a nice motor myself, using knowledge gained from various sources and doing whatever work I can do myself to keep the costs down. It's going to take a while but I will soon have a good statrting place with the aquisition of an F54/P79 long block.
