sblake01 Posted April 18, 2006 Share #13 Posted April 18, 2006 The Libra or at least 'Libra type' wheels were the hot setup on Z's as well as other Datsuns back in the day. I had them on my white 510. They were popular then probably because that's the type of wheel that was on the BRE cars. Jeff G 78 Posted April 18, 2006 Share #17 Posted April 18, 2006 It looks more like he stole some handicapped bathroom railing and bent it up for exhaust. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/19232-why-so-many-projectparts-zcars-for-sale/?page=2#findComment-164135 Share on other sites
lonetreesteve Posted April 19, 2006 Author Share #18 Posted April 19, 2006 Fun,I agree, the brown one looks like the best value for a project (at just $1,280.00 with only 17 hours remaining at the time of this post). Needs a new set of floor pans, weatherstripping and some TLC.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Datsun-Z-Series-240-Z-1973-Datsun-240-Z-Project-COLLECTORS_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ6187QQitemZ4630668683QQrdZ1 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/19232-why-so-many-projectparts-zcars-for-sale/?page=2#findComment-164189 Share on other sites
lonetreesteve Posted April 20, 2006 Author Share #19 Posted April 20, 2006 The Brown '73 sold for $3k. That's more than what I thought it would end up being, considering its extremly slow start in the auction. MAX Posted May 7, 2006 Share #21 Posted May 7, 2006 3rd Wife......One ZA few years ago the wife was giving me crap about my 73 Z taking up room in the garage. And I promptly reminded her that it has already outlasted 2 wives. To which she replied....well then "go do what it takes to get it running"And now about 5 years later it is just about done.....
