Can you believe it? Yet another year has gone by and the National Zcar Convention is at our door. The event lasts an entire WEEK and this year it is located in San Antonio, Texas.

One of our locals Kmack is part of the team bringing you the show and been working hard to make it happen. When you have a second, send Kmack a thank you note or better yet, go see him during sign-up on day 1.

Our club will be there sporting hats provided by 2manyZs !! Be sure to also send him a thank you note for taking the time and money to make sure we will be seen at the show.

Our Microfiche CD will also be on sale at the show for a reduced price. Be sure to look for them at the sign up counter when you arrive.

If you want to wear our logo like a proud member, print out one of our logos and do what you can with it. Unfortunately, I will not be attending the show this year (damn), and we don't have our shirts done yet, so, we will have to rely on the members to get our name out there and known by everyone! If you're proud... say it loud!

It looks like there are about 3-4 shows a year that I want to eventually attend. And, I'd love to be at all of them. For now, we'll just have to stick together and show our pride at these events.

Please don't inundate me with request for club hats just yet. I have only a few and most went to Kmack for the convention. I am still working on the design and style and have not finalized the hat I will offer to the club members as a whole.

I will have some news soon concerning the hats, but for the time being I am still working on the style and design, and what the final price to the members will be. I am not yet set up for shipping and such so until everything is ready I am not offering them to all club members. I would like to get everything organized so that I can fill orders as quickly as possible without having to have a large inventory of hats here.

Just as an FYI, the club logo is embroidered on as well as the clubs address. These are a very nice hat, but trying to find a style that suits the majority of the club is not an easy task. This is what is taking the most time, finding a style of hat that suits Mike, myself and a few other members I have selected for their opinions. So far all we agree on is we don't all agree on what kind of hat we like.

So, with that being said, stay tuned and watch for an announcement in the very near future.

I am working on a club store and we will be able to take hat orders (as well as other merchandise) from the site.

The message about the hats was merely to tell people that we are going to be at the National Convention via the top of a few heads.

Well, I was just wanting people to know that I wasn't sitting on a pile of hats for the club and not offering them to everybody. I was kinda hinting about the store without letting the "cat out of the bag".

Well, we didn't have quite the turnout in the caravans that we had hoped, but it did go pretty smoothly. Here are a few pictures after we got them all parked.

This wasn't all of the cars, there was a whole other row of cars, also. But most of them were Z31's and Z32's. I tend to stick with the early series cars.

BTW- the 4th from the bottom on the right (the primer gray) belongs to a friend of mine. He just got the thing put back together last night. He's got a custom built 280 Turbo engine, custom fuel injection system, w/ 3" custom exhaust. Sounds really sweet.
