Sounds like the seller has bumped hi head, bit much for any Zed here in England,240 or 260 if it needs that work done on it,where are you in Englan,im in london so am willing to check out a few zeds when they come up for sale so you dont get ripped of,stick to a late 260z as they are a little bit more refined than the 240s, and just as quick if you put the 240 carbs on them,if you want to compare the 2 different models then if you r down this way it could be arranged

Hi Daffy

I appreciate for the information, I'm in London Northolt Middlesex. the 260z I was looking at was advertised in z club uk it has been imported from Australia its 1974 model.

cheers dreamon

I have an early 74 260Z (spent its whole life here in california, and heavily burdened with lots of smog/performance reducing features)when I bought it it was all original but "well maintained" after investing in some ZT carbs it runs like a whole other car.WOW! after installing those (and removing certain other things...)my next adventure is to hopefully remove some "electrical issues"...(safety interlock system)

Best place to start is how much can you afford, the 260z on our site looks ok,apart from one of the doors seem to be out of line in the picture, thats just to start without seeing it in the flesh, the 240z looks like it could be a good buy, tempted myself on that one,the late 260z is the better car as i said before,it all boils down to how much you can afford,3 grand you aint gonner get much in the way of 240z,260z seems to be priced reasonable, balls in your court, here is my number,07957881997,never know, you could be driving around in a zed this weekend
