FairLadyZ47 Posted May 8, 2006 Share #1 Posted May 8, 2006 okay i was looking for a z for about almost 3 years....and i finlly came up on one...the guy whos selling it to me has done body work on it...the rears bumper is shaved off the cars is rust free and its a 72he has all the interior peices all in the car and the all the bushing are onlly 1.5 years old and hes selling it with a rebuilt tranny (5 speed) all for 500$the things that are kinda bad arehe cut out the whole gas tank and the spare tire weld and order to put in a fuel cell.so theres a big arse hole back thei but hes giving me a huge peice of sheet meatal to cover it up and he has no tail lights so im hear to ask you guys what do you guys think? is it a good offer? However, if it is truley rust free and you can live with the space intended for a fuel cell, it a good start @ $500.00As always, the bottom line is......what do you intend to do with the car? It would probably be a PITA finding a box big enough to sent the whole rear floor in, but I might be able to cut it in half or something like that. Then you could have it welded in.PM me if you want it and we'll work out a deal.
