Eric Hankerson, Gary Cohen and I had such a good time on the Iron Bottom, that we've decided to re-enact a small piece of it in May. No dirt roads, no water crossings, just lots of mountain twisties. It's Long, senic, and should be alot of fun.

Victor, you may want to check if hwy 33 (heading back to Ojai) is completely open. They had a slide shortly after the Iron Butt and the road was closed. Just thought I'd mention it for a check and see. Caltrans can be a little slow on these slide repairs.

Will do! How about you coming with us? I know that you'd need to start out really early to get to the start point, but at the finish, you'd be nearly home!

It's a 350 mile round trip for me. now that i see it laid out, it's pretty daunting! Dam the torpedos, full speed ahead.
