Mine too, seems like a very light walnut or something.

I ment like as in old and unsed FROM AMCO and not anything like OEM.

My knob does come with the AMCO green 'n white checkerd box.

Although i do know where i can get a Z432R twin stack exhaust pipe with muffler and that is OEM NOS !

Now if someone could just find me an OEM NOS front windshiled for a 1979 Datsun 810 2dr. hardtop. I'd even settle for a used one in good shape.

Tiger face? Do you mean the Datsun lion? Some people wrongly refer to it as a Griffin but it's a lion. Those are still available through Rallye Enterprises.

The earliest I've seen the Lyon associated with Nissan - was with the merger Prince. I've never found any association of the Lyon with Datsun (other than by after-market sellers).

Yes - and one of my secondary points was that I remembered your main point - from when you corrected me the first time -VBG-..... see I called it a Lyon this time.... and not a Griffin.
